Great location. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good, staff was extremely helpful. I really appreciated the possibility of early check in.

Since it’s located in the older building the windows were non-airtight and it was a little cold in the room. Moreover, at the day of my checkout (before I’ve checked out from the room) cleaning staff was already trying to get inside the room - twice!

Good location in a big room

Great location! Really big room and big bathroom. Charming old elevator. I like harder beds so I was very pleased as we slept very well. The windows are very well soundproofed. We didn’t have breakfast so no opinion on that.

The door felt like if it was paper thin as the walls actually, which we were not expecting from a Golden Tulip. The beds are too short. I measure 1m90 and my feet be were totally outside the bed.

Staying in 4 stars hotels can be tricky, either you got the feeling of 5 stars hotels or NOT at all

The room was spacious. And the bathroom was really good and reinovated well. Also the location was good. Also the housekeeping team were the best staff ever.

The rooms needs reinovations, you can see the damages inside the room from the dirty walls which can't be cleaned with regular cleaning to the old doors which is almost broken ending with old furnitures . The door of my room was not opening easily unless you kick the door. The receptionists can smile a little and not show they are forced to deal with you (even if they think by doing that they will be professinal) but not.

Good stay, double bed should be confirmed.

Location is near the train station. It is half an hour walking distance from the main sights. There are a few things to see around, but not much. All in all, we were content with the location, but will probably stay around Travestere next time. Breakfast was ok as well. Staff was very nice.

The bed was not a double bed. It was two single beds put together. Thus, it is not good for couples. We had to move the mattress several times to keep the bed together. This is not OK in a double bed. Terrace bar was dead. We went up the first night and it was only us. It also does have a great view as in the pictures.

Clean and convenient place to stay in the heart of Rome.

Great location. Very close to train station. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel porters were exceptional and very helpful.

Elevators., They still have the old ‘original’ elevator supplemented by a new one opposite but opening and closing of doors somewhat confusing.

A nice hotel very close to the Roma Termini.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the vintage elevator (and appreciated the modern one too!). The staff were lovely and did all they could to make our stay pleasant.

Overall were were satisfied. There was nothing in particular we didn't like.

Location was good - could walk to almost all attractions. Restaurants in the area were very good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms need to be updated especially the bathroom, which needs updated plumbing fixtures.

Most enjoyable, great food facilities and friendly staff

The character of it, old style but the restaurant area and bar was more modern style but still lots of character. A lovely unique lift that you could see through and a seat to sit on in it. High ceilings in bedroom with beautiful cornices. There was a lovely roof top terrace bar also which was really nice. The staff and the restaurant food was lovely. Quiet room with nice facilities.

It wasn’t the property itself per se but the area around there and near the termini was dirty and s little rough. But this could be said for much of inner city Rome. Felt like all the foot paths needed a good clean! Oppositely to to this the Vatican City was really clean despite being within the city.!
